Bring attention to your own channel and increase your views. Two methods are recommended to accomplish this.
1) One on one Collaboration where you actually do a video with another user. A common strategy must be agreed upon that reflects both of your strengths to make everything work. It is unusual to find two users with the same style but if you can find a way to make it work it usually turns out very nicely. For this to work well you must both bring something to the table. One sided collaborations rarely work. You can't expect things without giving in return.
2) Have a high profile person recommend your videos/channel. Don't assume users with thousands/millions of views are going to be inaccessible, you never know unless you ask. A shout out from somebody with many friends/subscribers will help your content become viral.
